I det här arbetsområdet för gymnasiet ligger fokus på litteraturen, innehållet och kontexten. Eleverna läser romanen ”Things fall apart” av Chinua Achebe och sätter sig även in i landet, kritiken och artiklar runt romanen och dess verklighet.

Arbetsområdet är uppdelat i nio delar (här kallade lektioner) som kan göras i olika takt. Delarna behandlar aktiviteter före, under och efter läsningen och är uppdelat enligt följande:
